Thank you for your interest in Pear Tree Gallery in Olde Avon Village. Below you will find some information about our “gallery invitation” for artists. We are always looking for great art and are currently in the process of establishing a waiting list for placement in our gallery. If you are interested in being considered for placement, please make an appointment with Liz by calling (440) 937-9927 and be prepared to bring a few selected pieces of your work. We will follow up by phone as soon as we can. Please do not bring work to the gallery or expect to be seen without an appointment.
Pear Tree Gallery, located in Olde Avon Village in Avon, Ohio, was established to provide an opportunity for participating artists to display and sell their work in a well-traveled, high quality setting without paying high overhead or making a large initial capital investment. Being selected as part of this “juried” display means your work is selected on its own merit and how well it will merchandise within the gallery. This gives everyone the best chance to succeed. Some of the other benefits of joining the Pear Tree Gallery are:

No commissions or consignment fees are deducted from your sales (depending on which option is selected)

Professional marketing and merchandising of your work

A home base for custom work or merchandise pick-up after a show

Here’s how it works. Every artist that is invited to join the gallery pays a one-time set up charge or assessment of $60. The duration of all initial contracts is at least 6 months. Based on a variety of factors and mutual agreement between the ownership of the gallery and the artist, one of two options will be in force for the contract.

An artist enters into a contract with us and pays between $125 and $250 per month rent for a fair amount of space, regardless of sales. However, we then do not charge commission on sales. We collect and process all sales tax. Members pay any applicable surcharge for any items that are sold on credit card.

An artist enters into a contract with us and pays $30/ month rent and Pear Tree Gallery retains 40% commission on all sales. We collect and process all sales tax. Members pay any applicable surcharge for any items that are sold on credit card.
