What started over 30 years ago as a hobby, has evolved into a wonderful artistic journey!

           In the 1970’s, Mark Gerrasch took courses in silversmithing and also in lapidary, which is the cutting and polishing of stones.  As his skills progressed, he began teaching a class in silversmithing.  In the years that followed, he moved into goldsmithing and diamond setting, and began working with other precious gems.  He spent some time learning how to cut and polish diamonds as well.

During the last 10-15 years, Mark’s artistic journey has led him to the Conner’s Jewelers’ Institute where he completed a course in advanced stone cutting.  He learned engraving and perfected his work under the tutelage of Johnny Wyerts. 

Most recently, Mark has moved into working with stainless steel doing some welding, design and sculpting with this metal.
